Where should we stand?

Last year, Leger Marketing Alberta, as part of its OmniWeb Calgary study, measured Calgarian’s perceptions of the DI and its position in the core of our city. Using an online questionnaire distributed to Leger marketing’s web-based panel, respondents were overwhelmingly in favour of the DI and its important role in Calgary.

93% of the 575 Calgarians surveyed stated they are aware of the DI with 95% in agreement that we provide a needed service to the city’s vulnerable homeless population. 85% agreed that the DI is appropriately located and 78% felt that the DI should maintain its current location.

Does the DI provide a needed service to the homeless population?
